The qualifying test
A venue appears only if a licensed casino is part of the hotel, attached to it, or operated in conjunction with the same property or complex. A hotel that merely sits near an unrelated casino fails.
Evidence rules
- Official hotel and casino sites first.
- Gambling Commission public register for operator account numbers.
- Independent current sources for open/closed status.
- No invented prices, room counts, awards or testimonials.
Ordering
Entries are ordered by integration, then facilities, then gaming-floor scale as described by operators. The order is editorial, unpaid and not an official ranking.
What we rejected in West Yorkshire
Standalone casinos in Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield; hotels advertising proximity only; and the former Leisure Exchange casino unit in Bradford while it remains advertised as vacant.
Photo policy
Hotel exteriors and a small set of public interiors appear only where Wikimedia Commons or Geograph grants commercial reuse. We never scrape Booking.com, TripAdvisor or venue press galleries without a clear licence. Casino-floor photography is omitted where rights are unclear.
What “full” means on this site
Each venue page carries an at-a-glance box, licensing context, traveller notes, photograph credits and links to official booking channels. Empty marketing fluff is cut; missing facts stay missing.
